The lion''s share of this year''s Golden Kite Awards, Viet Nam
Cinematography Association''s version of the Oscars, will likely go to
blockbuster favourites but other contenders aren''t out of the running
this March 12.
The movie Than Tuong (Idol), directed by Quang Huy, will vie for the Kim
Dae Jung Nobel Peace Film Award at the 14th Gwangju International Film
Festival (GIFF).
Directors Bui Dinh Hac and Dang Nhat Minh will be
honoured at the Viet Nam Cinematography Association''s Golden Kite Awards
for Lifetime Achievement in March.
